Sr. Client Architect
San Francisco Bay Area, CA USA. Also, nationwide in the USA
Responsibilities
- Led complex pre-sales engagements at Fortune 500 accounts
- Design sophisticated enterprise automation solutions using Tonomi
- Led technical benchmarks and POCs that results in customer wins against competition
- Provide feedback to product teams and influence technology roadmap
- Act as trusted advisor to director-level technology executives
- Create demos to support pre-sales or marketing events
- Present at conferences, user groups, marketing events
- Develop and deliver product training
Required Skills and Experience:
- Five years in client-facing pre-sales or delivery role as architect or senior engineer
- Strong understanding of enterprise sales process
- Prior experinece in hands-on software development within last 10 years
- Ability to be hands-on to develop demos, training materials, POCs
- Deep understanding of enterprise-grade software architectures
- Proven experience delivering complex enterprise implementations, from inception to production
- Expert knowledge of at least one deployment automation or configuration management tool
- Experience in building reliable systems using open-source software
- Ability to work on every level of the stack, from the application down to the metal
- Ability to relate to a wide range of customers, from CTO down to deployment engineers
- BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- Exceptional problem solving skills and intellectual curiosity
- Passion for innovation and creative problem solving
- Ability to proactively identify problems and coordinate resolution
- Ability to supervise work of others and delegate tasks
- Strong verbal, written and public speaking communication skills
Desired Skills and Experience:
- In-dept knowledge of Chef, Puppet, IBM uDeploy
- Experience in selling deployment automation and configuration management tools
